At the moments I have toytec shocks and 2”aal from them as well, I’m getting tired of the ride quality.now I’m thinking on changing it up a bit adjustable kings with piggyback Res. But they only offer them in 1.5” lift. Would I have to change up the aal as well ? I like the ride hight but it’s really stiff if I’ll have to I’ll go with the icon progressive aal ice herd good reviews and better ride quality on them, or would a 2” aal be compatible with a 1.5” shocks

Uhless going with a custom set, and relocating your rear shock mounts, do not buy the King rears offered for these trucks.

They offer very little actual travel and if you notice, multiple vendors cite different compatibility as these really are meant to be an OEM-replacement.

Use them with no lift, otherwise you run the risk of overextension.

It's messed up but plenty of people have ruined their King rears, even one guy last year after I specifically warned him about the issue.

Would it be pushing it if I add what it’s recommended? 1.5” aal ?

    You're not reading correctly.

Don't use them with any lift.

Ok my other option was ads 2.5” shocks with res. If that’s the case with king shocks

Also would you think the ride quality would improve with just those new shocks or would I have to change up the aal that I have at the moment to make it feel better ?

Personally, I'd never run an AAL.

Especially on a stock leaf pack which I assume you're doing? If so, your leaf pack is 19 years old and in need of replacing.

I'd just buy a new leaf pack considering you're spending the money on nice shocks already.
