Yeah, but that was a pretty sad game. Kings shoulda gotten that goal. How come when Doughty was pushed into Quick by Sedin it wasn't goalie interference and the goal stood, but when the Kings score, it's goalie interference. Refs have been calling everything against the kings this season. And OZ, it's Jarret Stoll not Stall.

And secondly , I know it's Jarrett Stoll , he was one of my fave players when he was with Edmonton . I was trying to get Scott all beligerent but he didn't take the bait .

While i agree that Pittsburgh needs to do something about Matt Cooke, i disagree that Lemieux is a "cry baby". Like it or not, the league needs to change. These weekly concussions are getting old. They need to set some non negotiable punishments for this kind of shit. Make suspensions more strict, and not dependant on the circumstances like it is now. If you hit someone in the head, first time its 10 games. Period. Second time, its 20, ect. Not how it is now, where its 2 games, unless there was an injury, and unless your a repeat offender, blah blah. Basically, i think they need to make it like baseball did with steroid testing.
The league is a joke when it comes to suspensions and protecting its players, more and more people are realizing it. I understand how hypocritical it looks of Lemieux while employing cooke, and i agree, but i also think the change has to start somewhere, and who better to try and push the change than one of the all time greats and a publicly recognizable figure? These are just my opinions and thoughts on it though.

 

There are more concussions due to the increased size and speed of the players .
