What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Leased this one in 2020 and promptly bought the title when the lease was up last week. Now that it's mine, I removed that air dam up front last week and added screenprotech films to the gauge cluster screen and the Buck Rogers screen on the dashboard today. Up next is weather stripping to lessen wind noise around the doors and researching a camper shell and mat for the bed. Thinking some better fog lights might be in order in the near future as well.

 

Miss Muffet's. Safe for most anything, wet and forget. Lasts a long time and they won't come back. Until next spring anyway.

We were having trouble with spiders getting into the intake of our Kohler whole-house generator. Real PIA. Nothing really worked until we sprayed Miss Muffet's on all of the cabinet's openings. Not one problem after that. Home Depot, Amazon, etc.

Try a small test spot, but should be fine.

BTW, not bee friendly, so use with care.

 

I’m pretty happy with my JBL system but yes you always wonder if the grass is greener lol.

 

Same here for the most part. The only thing that gets me wanting to see if I can make it better is that one album will sound great when the volume is up around 55, but another will sound like crap. My wife has a Ford with the Sony system, and hers always sounds really good.

 

Decided my black wheels were too black, sanded the rings to metal on the SCS, removed and left the bolts out on the ring.

 

I've got the JBL system and have the new speakers in hand, but between the extreme heat and having to work the last 2 weekends I haven't had time to see what is involved in doing the swap yet, including even if it can be done. Maybe this weekend???

 

I picked up a DECKED system for $750 off FB Marketplace, and put that in. Rather easy when its half assembled

 

How much weight do you have in the back when you're fully loaded? I'm looking at that same leaf spring set-up but deciding which option. I have a constant load of around 300 lbs but fully loaded up to 600 or 700 lbs.

 

This arrived late yesterday and I'm going to install it this weekend if all goes well. I am disappointed Toyota didn't include this handle from the factory! It only took 5 days from time of purchase to arrive here on the east coast and everything appears to be there and in good shape. More to follow after I install it.

You are correct.
Bought the trailer last fall. It is actually built by Canada Trailers North of Aylmer. Was the last one on the lot and they don't build them with the 4" drop axle anymore so I was fortunate to get this one.
There will be more pics in the future because I seem to be doing a lot with my Taco and new dump trailer.

Have you looked into the RoadMaster Active Suspension system?

 

Are these plug and play or did you have to cut the wiring harness and crimp connectors into place?

Slapped new patches on the headliner.

 

Back in July, I posted some pics of these ammo can holders that my friend made for me that fit over the wheel wells.
I had a lot of people ask about making them or getting the 3d print file for them.
After some modifications to the design and a different plastic, I am happy with the design.
My friend has graciously allowed me to post a link to the 3d file incase anyone wants to try their hand at making one.

Take into account that you will need to come up with hardware and there is room for improvement, but this should get you in the ball park.
This file is for the cage, knobs, and the support arms. You also need a 3d printer or know some one with one.
Also- these are sized to the MTM brand , 30 cal ammo can - not sure what else may or may not fit.
