Hey all, for about the last 9 months I have been taking my truck into shops and working on it myself also. 150k on my 2013 TRD off road. I have shakes that start about 55mph and get worse with speed increase. passenger seat is screaming for its life and wants to jump out of the window. Nobody can figure it out.
    I have replaced the following
    -struts around (6-7k ago)
-front and rear breaks (5k ago)
    -new Nitto trail graps 265/75/16r
-new rear end minus the diff (4k ago)
    -intermediate steering shaft(4k ago)
    -road forced wheels/tires(recent)
    -new carrier barrier
    -greased and inspected u joints

I have thrown on stock wheel/tires and they did not take away the vibrations.

I also had the driveline inspected and there seems to be nothing wrong.

I will take any and all feedback lol

Lift your vehicle up on a jack and check your wheel bearings, super quick and easy to do

Any prior accidents? No bent spindle or anything?

How's your alignment, surely if you had issues it would've been mentioned

Did the problem start before or after you jd the carrier bearing and rear end replaced?

From what I’ve been able to see there is no significant play in the wheel bearings.

no prior accident. other than taking it off road

I was doing alignment and everything but haven’t gotten one in awhile because even with my old KO2’s the wobble/vibration was still present so i was just dumping a hundred bucks into the shop. Camber/caster is never far off

Problem was before i replaced them. I was running KO2’s that has significant runoff so thought it would solve it. and then kept getting quotes from shops different things so then i would replace them lol

Is the truck lifted? Did you do any work around the time the issue first started?

Yes 6-7k ago i replaced the block lift and OEM struts and put bilstein 5100’s that is 3”.

Not being a dbag but there is not a certain time I vaguely remember it starting after i replaced something. Like I don’t remember being drunk and hitting a tree ya know? haha

If I'm reading you right, you installed a 3" lift? I'm no expert, but I would suspect your driveline geometry is off now. Plenty of threads on it. Sorry. I'm not lifted, so I can't offer much more help.

I like the look, but it's not practical for me. I don't do any off roading. Anyways. Even though you have shims, there might still be an issue. The issue you describe really sounds like a driveline issue because the shaking gets worse as your driveshaft speed increases. It's possible it needs a re-balance. I've read other people had to go with a 1 piece driveshaft to cure their issues.

Mentioning the "being lifted" part would've been important from the get go.

I always suggest not to exceed 2" even.

PS, these trucks don't use struts ;)

55 and above is 99% of the time a hub/bearing/wheel/tire. Drivetrain vibes usually start at takeoff or 35mph.

is it a fast vibe or a slow vibe?

I would definitely just pull the wheel bearings and check them. I bet they are worn out.

Out of curiosity, what were the numbers?
Also, I crank my ubolts to 100ft #'s. They can handle it.

When the vibrations start, do you feel them first in the steering wheel or more of the "whole truck"?

it starts slowly in the steering wheel around 35 with play back and forth but 55+ gets progressively more catastrophic lol.

it’s mainly in the front end, shaking my passenger seat and everything like crazy

At this point, you’ve replaced the easy things.

Wheel bearings and CV axles would be next.
