You could also just pull the fuel line to the rail and energize the pump to check for adequate flow that way too.
It's likely not a clog or bad filter, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Just throwing ideas out there. Would be good to eliminate that as a cause.
Is your fuel filter installed the right direction for the flow? only say that because mine was backwards.

dunno if there's anything like this out there for the 5vz

Really thinking this is something to do with what the ECU is telling me though, there shouldn't be any reason a crank sensor code is thrown if fuel is lost, right?

Drove a few miles for lunch today - still all good

Yeah honestly I'm still leaning towards wiring myself. I know you have lots of stuff extended and changed routing to go over very hot pipes and whatnot. I'd be inspecting every inch for failures.

I don't really actually - just a bit of a nest inside the cab. Nothing but O2 wires near the exhaust pipes. Need to clean it up and tuck the HT into the glove box soon, but I still need to run a few wires

Don't you have two pipes coming from each log manifold going right under the main harness snake?

There's the 1 bundled rubber boot of wires that goes over them, ya... I'll double check but I spent extra effort elevating that to as large an air gap as I could

The crank sensor wire runs the worst path near heat and danger, goes through the rubber dildo, over the back of the lower intake manifold, up the driver side of the lower intake, then crosses over the valve cover to go down near the water pump inlet and a fan belt.

Everything checks out from what's visible, so if there's a problem it's not exhaust-driven. (and the driver's size x-over pipe is very low so no worries there) I am gonna try to clean off the sensor once the truck cools down - maybe it caught some metal shavings or something

Whenever I stall my truck wheeling, almost every time I get the trigger reference error for the crank. So I think that might be somewhat normal for you to get that code when it dies like that.

Gotcha, ya I kinda had that thought in the back of my head - so it might be a symptom not a cause

In other news, I guess I'll be theoretically using up to 4% more fuel now that I'm running a flex fuel sensor in lambda 1.0 regions lol
Gas over here is reading between 6-8% ethanol though, so a bit less

Yeah your guys 91 is notably worse than 91 in other states. So much so that remote tuners treat it like 49 state 89oct instead for safety.

Well that guy's a ray of sunshine. I wonder who he talked to at Haltech though, Nik was more than willing to give out all the can addresses and the various formulas to display them as the proper values.:notsure:

    Stuff. Also things.
Is new guy talking about the CANopen standard?

It’s hard to hear through his quaking fear of the gays, but maybe that’s it? If so, that’s about the simplest CAN standard out there, IMO. I work with it damn near all the time, so if you guys need any help, holler!

Yeah, give a holler to Nik Czzowitz on Facebook, he's in the Haltech group, think he works for their location in CA now. He's one of the group experts, usually pretty helpful on more in depth technical stuff.

Version 3.09-3 firmware just dropped. I already updated mine.

I swear, every time I share a map on here a firmware update comes out shortly after. *Haltech is watching us vibes* o_O
