Any way to tighten this? If I leave the visor out extended blocking the sun coming from my drivers window, and I make a mild turn; it swings back and slaps me in the face like the whore I am.

I tightened that screw but unfortunately it seems to just keep the plastic surround in place and has no effect on tightening the visor rod.

any ideas or should I just begin the part out?
    Thanks!

I've seen lots of people do crazy things because the visor on the side blocks a lot of vision. I just use sunglasses.

    I’m a hack.
    I’d get creative with Velcro.

I don’t care what it looks likes. I’ll take function over looks all day.

Mine made so much squeaking noises when I used it on the side, so I just tinted my windows so I don’t have to use it on the side lol it was annoying

If you remove both screws and remove, can you bend the rod from the inside a bit? This would apply a bit of pressure and hopefully slow the pimp hand.

Remove screw. Rubber faucet gasket. Replace screw.
