Hey everyone! I have 2021 Tacoma currently with Black Rhino wheels and they are 33 x 12.50 R17 with a -18 offset.

I am not wild about my tires poking out of the fenders and would really love to get them just flush with the fenders. That said I am struggling to find the right solution for the wheels. I likely will be dropping the width of the tires a bit as well. Probably drop down to a 285/70 or 75. Looking at the 4runner 17in TRD Pro wheels I think those might work but does anyone have a solid combo of sizes that meets the above criteria?

I have a 3in lift, and the frame has been modded so I can fit just about anything that someone would reasonably put on a Tacoma.

You'll need a skinnier wheel with a less aggressive offset to be closer to flush. 8.5" wide wheel here with +0 offset. Flush with the tiniest bit of sidewall poke.

The tires and wheels were part of a giveaway I won and while they look nice they arent exactly my style. Looking to adjust it to be more me.

Personally, I cant wait to put my 255/80/17 Pizza cutters on.

No rubbing, much less power loss, and 1" overall of ground clearance, where it counts, under the diffs.

Honestly no denying that. There are some really awesome objective test results that show narrower wheels can and often do perform better in many situations. It all depends on where and what you do with the truck. That said I do like the wheels to fill the space and not look too thin on the truck purely aesthetically speaking.

Just wanna share an update and what I went with. I swapped out for:
    • Kansei KNP Matte Black - 17 x 8.5 ET0 - LINK
    • Falken Wildpeak A/T3W - 33" - 285/70R17 - LINK
They sit perfectly flush (hella flush?) and are just awesome. I much prefer the flush look and since I kept 33's they still fill out the wheel wells properly. If anyone wants to buy the previous set I have them listed for sale now on the forum link below but here are the pictures of the new stuff.
