Hello! Does anybody here know the brand and part number of a stock coil spring for a trd sport 2wd? I want to see if I can find it cheaper than at the dealer/ toyota parts websites. Or does only toyota sell them?

They'd be a Toyota part in this case, but unless you really like how the stiff Sport rides, I'd grab a take-off <1k miles suspension setup (front assembled coilovers w/ rear shocks) from an Off-Road for like $300 instead if replacing any Sport suspension components and greatly improve the ride quality.

Right now I have bilstein 5100 up front. I am planning on getting 5100 for the rears and setting the front 5100 to the top notch. I just wanted new springs to help the shock a little since the current springs are 5 years old and the 5100 are about 1.5 years old

Definitely find a set of nearly new take offs, you can probably find them for beer money.

Ahh, unless they're super weighed down or covered in rust I wouldn't expect them to 'wear out' after only 5 years. I'd go with OME's for your weight if you don't want to keep the stocks. This might allow you to not have to set them at the top notch also to gain a little more preload and overall more comfortable ride.

Yeah I was looking for take offs but everyone here in SoCal is selling complete suspension and not just springs, and for high prices. I just wanted to keep it simple but sounds like I may have to go with ome’s and a 1/4 spacer for driver side I’m assuming

Makes sense. Could also go 1 notch higher on the driver side to make up for the rake with OME's.

Also, do you guys know if the springs on the stock black shock are the same as the springs on the stock blue shock?

This is some visual and part number evidence that there is more than one 3rd gen coil spring, but I have not read anything quantitative about how the specs might differ. AFAIK, they are all the same length, inside and outside diameter, and 712 lb/in spring rate.

If they aint broke, I'd stick with them.. They dont wear out as fast as shocks do. And Bilstein recommend you keep them.

And personally, I never needed the 1/4 spacer either, but mileage may vary...

Yeah I think imma just keep using the same springs and just add the 5100 to the rear. It’s not a hard job to change springs if I’m not satisfied anyways

Springs are the same on all models but Pros. Shocks are different.
