Favorite Whiskey?

Went ahead and picked this up up:



I haven’t had anything from the Heaven Hill line up and figured I would give this a shot. If I like this one, the store I picked it up from had several barrel proof stacked up on the shelf.

 

That's easy, crack em and enjoy em.

Agreed, the KC 12 is some good stuff.

 

The only bad KC I'm aware of is the Smoked Maple abomination.

Everything else is a banger in its category and price point.

 

I am so glad those days of overindulgence are behind me (most of the time ). There are a few bottles whose aromas spark good memories but bad bodily reactions. Such as some cognacs and overly sweetened dark rums.

 

agreed! I've a friend who came over and caught a whiff of gin and I've never seen anyone's face turn that white so fast and walked away for a moment. was wild knowing that like 10 years ago one night of gin still had that effect on her.

 

I'm an avid drinker, mostly gin. Not very experienced with whiskey, they mostly taste very similar to me. However, my birthday was on Monday and was gifted this extremely wonderful bottle. This stuff is ridiculous

Cracked open the Elijah for dinner tonight. First take is a good one.

 

I've got a bottle of that tucked away, waiting for a special occasion. Come to think of it, I just made my last mortgage payment today. I'm opening it this week!

Paid off mortgage? What is that? Last time I saw that we had just sold the house lol

 

Buying a house cash is a good idea, but for goodness sakes don't leave it paid off if rates are under 10%.

Which they usually are.

Pull out every penny you can on a re-fi and get it to work in the market.

Enjoying some EHT on the patio tonight. Finally cooled off a little so I was motivated to clean so I could enjoy!

This EHT of course does not disappoint and makes the patio and music that much better!
