Oh and I was right about his FJ62 having just been washed which is why that pic from yesterday showed it was "wet"

The bad news? He coated it with something today so now it always looks wet so yeah it's

So my table was maybe 2 degrees canted total one way, and level the other; the real problem?

The bearing block on the gantry tube was loose causing about a good 1/2" of difference from one end of the axis to the other causing a huge difference in torch height as it cuts.

Fortunately I never even noticed it meaning torch height control was doing a damn good job at adjusting for it, but I would get a slight bevel on real thick stuff when cutting holes.

Hoping to get it square at some point tomorrow so I can get @Tour991 skid plate cut this Saturday

 

Do I need to adjust or move the load sensing proportioning device since I lifted my truck?

 

Looks clean! E locker, 5 speed, 3.4? Plans to SAS?

 

I’ve never heard of that. Some people have to extend their brake lines. I’d try calling whatever company you bought the lift kit from.

 

You install a little bracket to make up for the lift; this way when a load is put in the bed your brakes adjust for it the same way as if the truck was in stock form.

Nothing to do with whatever kit he has or where he got it from.

Then ATC wants you to slow the fuck down to damn near 140 knots but then it gets damn close to stall speeds

 

Rear brake line? No biggie.

Front brake lines? Fuck man the LC did not want to thread on for the life of me

 

Just found BAMF (@JLee) makes a bracket. Probably will order one and not make one for the sake of convenience.

 

It's just a piece of steel flat bar with holes drilled in it, literally.

 

Or galvanized if I recall correctly.

You can just rattle can it after drilling a few holes.

 

We are two different types of sim pilots lol you go for the f18, and here i am in old warbirds and STOL planes LOL first image is a day ago, the second one is current as of a few minutes ago running real time weather.

 

Think I just used a piece of scrap from an old piece of furniture for mine and drilled an extra hole in it

 

Yeah I'm not gonna fight with the front ones this time around, that job on the Tacoma wasnt fun, don't really see the need for the 4runner unless they need to be replaced

 

Lol the F18 I just had to try out with my new joystick, was really fun but now I see where cheap peripherals start to hinder you

Premium throttles have far more control (more 'steps') and I found myself constantly having to correct my throttle just to keep it where I needed to for landing; kind of sucked really

But this was me yesterday
