No OBD DLC power

    ISSUE FIXED: blown 7.5 amp fuse.


    that time again, time to spend 200+ on stickers. have never had a problem in the 6 years ive owned it and now i get no OBD DLC power. saw a post about fuse being blown could be an issue so i checked and it is indeed blown so just checkin to see if anyone else has had this issue and what their solution was.

    AISIN Timing Belt Kit, cracked dash...
    Any work done on the truck recently? This stinks of a wire (somewhere) shorted to ground. Time to get out the wiring diagram and meter, or for a start, a visual inspection. I'd look under the fuse box at the junction where that fuse lives. Checking the harness where the ECU connectors are...could be some worn insulation on two (or more) wires touching.

    not much work done at all lately, latest thing i did was get a new stereo.

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    Is the OBD fuse continuing to blow or did you just find it was blown, as far as I know all it feeds is pin 16 of the OBD port so it's possible something got plugged in that blew it.

    Fuse was blown. Passed DEQ. All good now. Gonna edit post
