I’ve been on a motorcycle three times in my life.

Been hit by another vehicle all three times.

I took it as a sign from god.

 

Same reason I got rid of my street bike. Semi merged across 3 lanes near the Mead exit just to be able to camp in the left when no one other than me was on the interstate. Drove me off the pavement and into the shoulder at 85. Luckily kept it upright until I came to a stop. Sold the bike and got back into riding dirt a month later and have zero regrets.

 

Yep, riding a motorcycle on the highway during March 2020-early 2021 was very nice and relatively safe. I wouldn’t imagine doing it now. I almost die every other time I drive on the roads with the amount of people raging throughout their day, not paying attention, driving death traps with no tread and falling apart body panels with unsecured loads.

My favorite is the 80s F-series with 238746238429387402983 pallets on the back held together with one bungee/strap. I love following that guy on I-70

My wife has been hit by a few stationary objects. That's how I know it's possible.

All torqued down with a few drops of blue glue. Not sure if that Givi puck should be on the top or bottom bar. Looks better on the bottom, but might be more functional on the top. Might have to drop it to find out.
