17 inch wheels. Tundra Brake upgrade.
Hello all, I have pro comp wheels that don’t clear the calipers so I installed a set of 1/4 inch spacers that slide over the hubs and existing studs. I used 108-106 hubcentric rings so the spacers feel snug then put my lug centric pro comp wheels on. Tires are brand new and balanced, and brakes are fully bled. I adjusted my rear drums and they are a little tight but I didn’t think that would cause a vibration. Any ideas?

Your slip over wheel spacer is the issue

I already have 4.25 backspacing, I’m worried if I go to a 1 inch spacer I’m going to wreck my wheel bearings.

What does the brake upgrade have to do with this?

Back spacing won't clear. Hitting caliper is what I can think of

Bad assumption. If your rear brakes are dragging, it can cause the drums to become out of round, and ultimately lead to a vibration. I went down a big rabbit hole chasing a driveline vibration, replaced almost everything, including the drive shaft, and it ended up being the drums.

Question for ya'll. Can this be done on a 5 lug truck?

when driving down the road turn the parking brake handle and keep it turned and pull it out slowly… do you feel a vibration through the handle, if so it is the drums but I think that the issue is the wheels/spacer assembly too. Lug centric wheels on a hub centric truck.
