That JD stopper is one of my favorites. Great hand feel, nice printed details on the top. Wood/cork combo FTW.

I know a guy who uses them as cabinet handles in the garage. Which looks awesome.

That’s an idea! My wife makes cork boards or whatever she can think of out of the wine corks but always places in some of the bourbon bottle stoppers.

I’ll have to look back through what I have to see if that would work for my workshop cabinets.

Happy Friday. Post your all-time, no doubt, number one favorite bourbon ever.

I’ll start: Four Roses BS OESV, with Weller Full Proof as a very close second.

Old Rip Van Winkle. For the easier to get stuff, it's Weller SR, for me.

    Don't make me choose.

Is this purely an exercise in flavor? No consideration of value/dollar or attainability?

    That's awesome, great idea.

Oof, tough one. Can't say I have a for sure #1 no doubter. Of what I've tried, I'd probably narrow it down to:

    -Weller CYPB
    -Pappy 15 Yr.
    -Willett Bourye
    -Russell's 13

Great question, currently my tastebuds are saying George T. Stagg for my number one and Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Bourbon second.

I think for me it would be Stagg Jr, it was the first high proof whiskey I had that I fell in love with

    Oooof.

Probably.....man, this is hell because single barrels throw such a wrench in the equation...

I'd say it's neck and neck between the best RR SiBs and JDSBBPs and Booker's 3-2021 Bardstown Batch.

I'm going to give the edge to the top-flight Russell's Reserve Single Barrel bottles. But man it's not even a hairs width divides 'em.

Just open a 4yr to compare. Not to oaky, very buttery smooth and the rye delivers. The nose is sweet but very light and nice. The 4yr definitely way different. Not clean up as nice but just a ton of fruit and evaporate right away. This is definitely for the ones that been into the game for a min.

Tough choice. Really love the RR13 but only had it once so hard to say it's my fav. Elijah Craig Barrel Picks are always winners for me. Had one that tasted like straight Dr Pepper.
