anyone else watching this fire in indian gulch between clear creek canyon and golden gate canyon?

i can actually see it from my office window and it is still raging...

i went up to mt galbraith to trail run yesterday and noticed a small fire in the canyon and was hoping it wouldn't effect my run...by the time i got there, park ranger was there already closing the trail...ended up at white ranch for a run instead, and by the time i got back down to lookout mountain to scope out the fire, it spread to both sides of indian gulch and growing fast..looks like it's still spreading...first week of spring and already fires breaking out...foothills need some moisture BAAAAAAD!

    A few bolts are different.
Went to the airport this AM. You can see the haze from Genesse area heading into Denver. The high winds will not help...

I flew by the fire on the way to denver today. they had a helicopter making water drops but not sure how long they worked today. the winds gave us an ass kicking all the way home. i'll see if i can get the picture the medic took as we went by.

thanks, yea i was looking into getting a harley nightster but i didn't have the $$ for that...picked up that one for ~$3000 with 4000 miles on it and it lets me rip up the mtn roads so i'm happy with it...went on a trip with my cuz and his buddy who were going across country from denver>lyons>estes park>nederland>coal creek canyon back to denver and fell in love with his gsxr 750..that thing wants to do nothing but go fast and kill it through turns...his buddy who had a chopper had some issues with some of the tighter turns and scraped his pegs a couple times...amazing ride tho
