There's a ton of better and cheaper solutions (like that one) I would've preferred to do, but unfortunately I like to torture my friends and make them sit in the back of the extended cab so I needed to keep the passenger area usable - which is where the JL box excels.

Damn thats nice af. Ive never made an enclosure or messed with stereo/sub installs usually paid someone to do it. Could someone with no experience like myself do this fairly easily? You seem like u got some experience doing this.

    TBD
I tried a tube sub in the back for a bit but I ultimately ended up going with two under seat subs from rockford - surprisingly good and decent punch. The best part is the dogos have all the xtra cab space to themselves.

What do you mean? From the vibration? It’s all anchored down to the body so the vibration would be everywhere even if the console was in the back. It’s not like I’m pushing 2k+ watts through a 8” sub.

I put a Kicker HS10 under the front seat and have been surprisingly pleased with it. Plenty of thump for an old man like me in a little cab like these.

Do you want to BUMP or do you just want a full sound? I'm using a Cerwin Vega VPAS10 10" sub/amp combo and I installed it under the passenger seat. I have it at about half power and it sounds great and bumps pretty good.
