Gaz Odour in Motor Oil ????? Need Help !

    I have a 2009 Taco V6, 75000 miles. I Pulled the deep Stick yesturday & the oil Smell Gaz... ? What Cause That ??? Need Help !

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    Octane too high in fuel maybe, or Spark plugs need changing.

    HP60/14 bolt, Atlas 5.0.
    Change the oil and make sure there isn't actually gas in it. If so, you could be getting blow by (piston rings).

    I've also heard that it could be caused by the cold weather.

    Do you let it idle for really long periods of time? 75k isn't a lot of miles to need rings.

    Does it smoke? Maybe you have a set of rings lined up. I don't know enough about to Toyota's to know if it's a three or two ring set up.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Have the oil anylized. The smell alone is hard to gauge how much may (or may not) be in it.
