It’s time for tires. Looking for advice. Falken wild peaks or good year dura Tracs. I’d like plus and minus for both.
2017 Trd Sport. Misting city driving but might venture off the path. Also live in Ny so we get snow.

Duratracs for the most aggressive A/T, closest to a M/T tire
Wildpeaks are a little more on road friendly.

As much as I love my Duratracs, I am stepping up to a 255/80/17 Wilpeak as Duratracs dont make it in that size.

We live in a ski resort so lots of hills & snow. I run the Falkens & never had a problem & can't think of a downside other than they have gone up in price. Duratracs are supposed to be good as well just a harder ride on pavement from my research.

2.5” OME lift, Koenig Six Shooter wheels, 275/70r17 Nokian Outpost AT, CMC, Nitro 4.88s, Greenlane aluminum sliders, CBI aluminum skid, Greenlane aluminum front bumper, Out Gear Solutions HC rear bumper, Baja SAE fogs
For your use case I recommend a milder AT.

Check out the BFG Trail Terrain, Nitto Nomad Grappler, Cooper AT3 4S, General Grabber APT, Nokian Outpost APT, Vredestein Pinza AT, or Continental Terrain Contact AT.

My buddy had a 19 pro with Lt dura tracs and he hates them. My buddy has them on his Silverado and loves them.

They did well for me off road, all terrains are all about compromise. I was able to do my first river crossing with duratracs and walk up a steep river bank under water.

For OP I'd suggest wildpeaks or cooper at3 4s for mild mild tires.

I’ve never run duratracs myself but it seems like half the reviews say they’re the best tire ever and the other half say they’re horrible. It almost makes me want to buy a set just to see which side is accurate, I’ve never seen such divided reviews besides maybe with ridge grapplers.
