    They're EMGO Spear LED. Plug and play. I ordered them from Fortnine, but I’ll try to link a US retailer.

    Pulled the fairing to wire up the USB socket and replace the headlight bulb with something better. Also replaced the two running lights with LED. Gotta strip it completely down to get to those two little bulbs. Managed to strip the head on one fairing bolt and had to drill it out. Luckily ACE has this stuff on the shelf so gave me an excuse to run downtown. Fairly relaxing project since it was raining out. Would have been easier if I had done this before the engine cage was installed :rolleyes:

    Let the scammers begin!!! Already had three people want to send cashier’s check and the shippers pick it up after check clears. LOL

    I’m feeling a certain way that summers almost over.

    Anyone have any Moto trips planned.

    No trips per se, but looking forward to rides with fall colors and cooler weather.

    I took the Grom out to get it registered and get some riding impressions - this bike is basically what I was wanting out of the Navi. It feels a little smaller than the Navi seating wise and the geometry makes it seem much more playful and willing to turn. The bike also feels slightly faster - I hit 63 mph on flat ground today and the bike is otherwise stock (in fact I think it's 1 down on the front sprocket).

    I'm currently looking at mods - I just bought some swingarm spools and am going to get stiffer springs and a heavy duty clutch plate, and will probably get a 1 finger clutch lever as well.

    Going to do an offroad trail I've done 10 times in a truck on a bike. Looking forward to the new experience. So far we have 3 bikes coming but going to try and double it.

    It's amazing how easy stuff is in a truck compared to a bike, yet the bike is so much more rewarding.

    Just ordered the clutch lever and clutch springs/plate. Also ordered a new shift lever since I don't like how spongy the stock one feels.

    If I learned anything in this thread;

    This is what it's like before owning a Grom

    And this is what it's like after buying a Grom.

    I guess I should have clarified that I want a midweight shaft drive ADV from a Japanese manufacturer. I want to actually ride it to more than the dealership. :p

    It's pretty, though. I like the flying V, but not sure how it'd handle a drop. No idea on them at all, as I have just kinda dodged anything Italian after the break in oil analysis that Fortnine did. Probably not fair, as the Moto Guzzi wasn't actually in the list, just Aprilia and Ducati.
