Successful total knee replacement yesterday. Still at Stanford.

I can’t believe that they do these as outpatient surgery

Good luck, yes they toss you out quickly. Seems like hospitals are only sick people anymore. When my wife fell and broke her hip she was in over night considering surgery was at 8pm. Out the next day. A gal from church had anterior hip replacement surgery out same day she had the other one done 2 years prior and was in over night. Keep up with PT. Hope you feel better soon a couple days.

Get an Ooma - works off of wifi and is like $7.00 per month

Heal up fast and do your therapy!!! :D

I'd take out patient vs having to wait up to months for the surgery.

    evening gang

Getting my RV ready for a 14 day trip north from San Diego to Paso Robles, Kings River, Bass Lake, with a neighborhood group I call "Scripps Ranch Trailer Trash". 5 couples, this group are Travel Trailer haulers. I have a Minnie Winnie. Well break off from the group after Bass Lake/Yosemite and loop back down the coast doing our own thing. Taking 2 Ebikes on a 1Up Superduty rack that is RV rated. Recaulked my RV roof which has been giving me fits for the last 2 years with roof leaks. Hillary hit San Diego and I was concerned about water leaks
resulting from the rain. Bone dry! Now just taking care of smaller items like flushing the fresh water tank, topping off the onboard propane tank, rotating and balancing the tires. Almost ready to go! This will be our first trip in 2 years without our GSD "Santino" that passed in June. We're taking his blanket and water dish with us.

    Doing ok thanks.
    Just doing piddle projects.
Deciding when to pull the mouse snowblower out and start on that.
Still can’t mow my lawn. Raining just enough to make it to wet.
Still to wet at the end of the day..
Oh well, real world problems… hehehe

    Good morning all you Porchies…

I would like to address something minor I have seen.

    I see it a lot.

The use of quotes and tags sends alerts to the person you are having a conversation with.
By not doing that, a reply to a question or conversation could be missed. I have seen someone ask me a question buried in a paragraph and if this place was busier, I could easily miss it. Sometimes a few days go by and I just happen to see it.
Sometimes it’s pretty important to the person that is asking the question. Then if I don’t reply, then they could be thinking I couldn’t be bothered and I’m a dick or asshole. (Well, I am but, that’s another conversation for later.)

I have called people across the U.S to help or shoot the shit.

If you are talking to someone or, making a reference to someone, quote or tag them…

If you don’t know how there are faq’s or ask in the thread.

Ok, back to more coffee… lol
