RC this track is notoriously hard to pass at… As Jett goes flying by everybody.

 

Ricky has to be the worst professional announcer in the game. I said what I said.

 

I couldn't agree more. Ricky is truly the GOAT on a bike, but the WOAT as an announcer.

 

Ricky does better when James is there to guide him through discussion. I do find it hilarious how he and James have to chop it up on the broadcast like they were good ol' riding buddies back in the day, when in all actuality they hated each other at one point.

 

Ricky butchered almost everyone's name at one point it seemed...

Jett is on another level right now and is did some pretty magical riding to get some of his passes... It was like watching Valentino Rossi back in his younger years when he was able to put his bike on lines that competitors could only dream of... Jett was playing position mid air setting up for corners out there. We may see some records falling in the next few years provided he stays healthy and focused.

 

I turned the volume down, lol. Good racing. That was fun to see Jett work thru the pack.

So is Marv still going to race SX or did the wrist injury force him to retire and train others? Kinda weird seeing him on the broadcast every now and then, but never getting that answer.

Damn that is crazy, hopefully he's back for playoffs! I've had that surgery before, recovery isn't bad if appendix hasn't burst. We need that kid in the mix!

 

Quite a weird summer. But the Lawrences rode great. Well-deserved titles for them. Excited to see how SMX goes.

 

Anyone say if they are coming back from injury for the playoffs?

 

Not injury but word is Webb will be racing. Not sure of anyone else.

I really don't like the Zmax dragway track. I don't get the double start. Looks super dangerous to me, I mean what could possibly go wrong with riders coming into the same spot from two different directions. If you make it through the start in the back of the track there is a split lane where if you take the inside line your momentum will shoot you right out into the way of the riders coming from the outside line, what could go wrong there. Some of these tracks look good on paper but in a practical sense, not so good.

I like the other two tracks. Chicagoland has what appears to be massive whoop section and lots of them, Love the sand sections and can't wait to see the coliseum racing again especially since they don't have to leave the football field unused.

 

Trying to jam a SX track into a drag strip seems like a strange idea. Perfect for a Red Bull straight rythym though. That split start seems dangerous. We don’t need anymore injured riders this year.
