Thanks for your response, I am having this issue with a 2004 Pre-Runner 2wd, all stock to the best of my knowledge,
I'm the second owner I bought it with 160K miles it now has over 225K,ie No lifting, No super duper shocks/struts, No larger tires (245X75X17) Michelin Defender.

Anyway, I've had the truck to my mechanic twice since then and he seems to think ANTI LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM may have an influence on the braking system?? curious to me, fore I thought ALBS shift fluids from one cylinder to another wheel to enhance a safe stopping experience. I don't really know!

Oh well thx for your concern, it is appreciated.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
If you don`t trust your mechanic time to find another one.

Maybe research how ABS brakes work to understand things better.

stated simple ABS brakes are a computer controlled braking system that senses locked wheels and releases the brake on that wheel . As soon as the wheel is moving it applies that brake again. To me it sure feels like a brake pulse.

10-4, you are correct to advise me to research ABS, I assumed what I have herd AND coupled that with no knowledge I am humbled! I will research this and post a reply ASAP ! thank you for reminding me that "I do not know it all"
    p.s. don't tell my wife
