Well, made a call yesterday to HD about my second tiller, she said [went thru 3 different gals] in about 3 weeks but she'd [last gal] see what she could do. Got a text today, being delivered tomorrow.

    Remember, honey catches the fly.............;)

Breaking new ground definitely sucks. Engine seems to just hum along though. Sound does remind me of a Honda engine.

I was thinking the same thing when it catches on a root and runs away from you. Hit some big 3-4” roots and lucky the engine stalls.

On that model can you change the rotation of the tines?

Yea, I tried out the reverse and the tines did indeed move backwards. Didn't try it breaking up that small section of ground though.

I would recommend changing the oil after the first run though. Good bit of metal shavings came out when I drained mine after running it.

Mine was under the carport when I arrived home. The YF one is MUCH heavier then the Champion tiller. I was looking to see if they stuck a NP 208 AND a 205 transfer case in the box instead of a tiller.

I finally got the LF RTG tiller assembled last night, but I still have to add oil to the gear box and engine. It's bigger and heavier than I had pictured it to be in my head. Getting it out of the metal cage was a serious PITA!:annoyed: What little oil that was in the engine from the factory is now on my garage floor. Oh well, a little kitty litter will have that soaked up... :anonymous: I'm rethinking whether I want to put the RT model together to sell it or leave it in the box.

:fistbump:Just preparing that area for grass seed in October. Put the tarp over the weeds for 2 1/2 weeks to kill them. Also magnolia tree stumps suck to grind! And the roots kept wrapping themselves around the tiller tines. :annoyed:

Finally mowed the lawn with the toro ZT after multiple trips to the shop under warranty. All lawns mowed and trimmed. Ever worked lawn was are dry, but spent 4 hours all and all. Still need to figure out a better string for my trimmers.

Ok I’ve been having terrible luck with small engines lately. Actually all engines lately. Just a month out of warranty my inverter generator will not idle with any load, just surges and dies. So I guess I’m going to buy another generator and send off my inverter generator for repair?
Should I get a dual fuel so I don’t worry about bad gas, or gas fowling?
