As it should. You implemented the extender correctly.

I lived too far away from the central office to have DSL. It has to do with the resistance in the phone line. The farther away you live the greater the resistance. Comcast was the first to get to my neighborhood with cable and high internet speeds.

Get well quickly and do the PT.

Good morning and happy Sunday. I have a prescription to pick up at Harris Teeter and I might as well pick up some ribs. Ribs are on sale at $1.97 a lb. Going to have chicken tonight. On Tuesday I have to sit with my lunch partner from 2pm to 4pm. His daughter has to take his wife to a medical appointment and my wife is watching our niece's child while my niece is working. I am doing watch duty with my lunch partner; hope he is up and not sleeping. Thinking of taking a rack of ribs down to them for a dinner supplement, as long as the daughter is ok with it.

    Everyone have a great day.

HughesNet and ViaSat are 2 satellite internet providers here. Both pretty much suck. The part timers, that use it, here run out of data and the speed drops way down. Its worse for full time residents.
Starlink is not available for us.

Spectrum and Skyrunner are possible, but most likely not enough customers to warrant the line to us. I contact them every couple of months.

Im just happy it sees the second network. Wasn’t sure if the base phone unit would recognize it.
Wifey just ordered me a 32” fire tv and wall mount. She said I’ll never come inside. I said I need insulation first.. lol

One of my personal pet peeves too. Making it a habit to quote solves the issue entirely, and then anyone finding value in following a conversation can stay on board.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! MORE Putz! That's really a good thing, because it means nothing major broke on me this week! Yet. Moved some Blink cameras around yesterday after the little Hoodie visit, and set a new record for triggers on nothing: 123 videos to delete this AM. Adjusted the sensitivity. Maybe be I cleaned them up too well!

Enjoy the travels Bob, @ScrippsRanch67 !

Gas 87 octane around where I live is $5.50+ a gallon. Filled my truck and boat today, it was over $225. F#ck those responsible for this rip off. I feel better now, just had to get that off my chest.
The fish I catch are going to be expensive. I figure with the cost of fuel for boat and truck, launch fees , all the costs associated with boat ownership, the equipment and misc. each trout will be about $70. But I ain’t giving up fishing or boating. As long as wifey doesn’t know the true cost I’m good. She wouldn’t hassle me but I just think it better that she not know.
I remember as a kid fishing was cheap, a rod, reel, line, a few hooks and sinkers and some worms I dug up myself. And I almost always caught fish. As they say the difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys. I do pray though that she doesn’t find out the true cost of my hunting activities. Just the cost of my hunting dog and his professional training cost more than the very first “new” car I bought in 1973, a 1973 Mustang fastback. I certainly hope she enjoys the trout I bring home and later this year the pheasant and ducks. We just won’t mention what each mouthful costs.

Got to say, the best "business' quote I read this year had to be "gas is costing more because excessive heat is impacting refinery equipment." Really!

Regardless, you have to factor in your per catch happy factor. Might break even!

They say the 2 happiest moments in your life is when you buy a boat and sell it. I'm not telling. Our gas just went down to 3.49 at Sam's from 3.52 I feel for you California seems to be out of control. What are launch fees? In Minnesota a launch is a very large pontoon that requires a pilot and guide to put you on fish. You just have to catch them. Before COVID 4hrs was $70. They supplied the bait, pole took the fish off and cleaned them if you wanted for a tip. All you supplied was your favorite beverage and hopefully were able to walk off  the launch. This was on some of the bigger lakes. Usually about 20 - 40 people.

Well I guess we can talk about gas prices under economics and not get into anything political.

Apparently Saudi Arabia is gearing up again. They do this in cycles and have since crude was first pumped in the ME. And of course there was a recent fire at a refinery which I'm sure will be pinching the supply. So supply and demand. Supposed to be 129 refineries in the US. I know there was some tremendous effort to drill in the States not that long ago, and then like everything got capped. Boom and bust cycle I guess.

I've never figured out how SA has manipulated their way through the psychi of the American public as though they were invisible. A lot of questionable economic activity from that source, including market manipulation and other stuff. And yet we have always given them a pass and they have used their money well to cultivate influence in all kinds of circles. I suspect the Saudi Royals are pound for pound the most intelligent genetically related family on the planet. They certainly know how to be low profile and how to spend their money for effect.

I've done it twice. Loved a little 12' I jumped up a little bigger. Got rid of it after as a group got a pontoon for the little lake we go to. There have been only a couple times I missed it. For that I've rented one for about the same as insurance costed me for a year. I like something small that I can handle myself because my wife and kids don't get as much out of boating as I do. I have thought about a jetski/ personal watercraft. I like fast on the water but the old body not as much.
