Went our wheeling today. Trail was pretty rutted out after the last storm that rolled through Southern CA. There was a mud puddle at least a foot deep. As I was heading back to the road a tesla sedan came up trail towards me. No way dude had the clearance for what I just finished but ....good luck bud. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Did both front unit bearings. Thought I was doing a good thing by buying the best (read most expensive) from Napa. They turned out to be the same Dorman ones I could have bought at Advanced. A little disappointed but I really needed them. Found that I have a cv boot getting ready to have a hole in it. Next purchase is going to be 2 used Toyota axles from Ebay and 2 reboot kits.

Lubed the zerks and changed the transfer case fluid with my son. It’s so much more enjoyable wrenching on the rig with him than doing it solo.

    Just some stuff...
Spending some quality time with your son is always a win. Handing down some good advice, teaching him self reliance by learning how to wrench on his vehicle will always pay off well in the long run. Along with how to save a couple of bucks by doing it yourself.

IMG_7841.jpgIMG_7450.jpg I haven’t been on here for a long time and pumped to be back. Got some good info on a couple projects on the truck I’m working on.

updated shocks new OME shocks, new headlights, threw on some Arb knock off led’s, repainted a bunch of stuff, wheels , frame, etc. Found a new oem grill I might modify to be the same as my current modified one (chrome is peeling bad).

2009 470 000km daily driving. Lots of camping with the kids this summer, bought a bike rack.

Did a sand / spraymax 2k on the headlights (wife's explorer as well). I think I needed to do a little more sanding....next time. Dang explorer turned out a little better.

I have the Dynamic Diode SS3 Pro Fog's and get a lot of "what fogs are you running" when out on the trails...they're fantastic.
