2001 3rz. Alternator bearing makes crazy bad noise. It destroyed my nerves. Comes and goes after rain blah blah blah. Anyway having a hard time finding a new replacement. Not remanufacture. Yall know where and what part number? No electrical upgrades on the truck just want another one that won't make noise for another 22 years

Reman Denso is the way to go. They do their own remans. I got mine from Rockauto, and it's been perfect for the last year. YMMV.

While preferred, we're starting to see a huge decline in quality with denso remans bad out of box.

For years it's all I'd put in, but their quality seems to be slipping.

I'd still suggest it, but honestly reman is a risk, get one with warranty and availability.

I don't doubt it. So many companies that were once amazing have declined, it's not even funny.

I wish I could just go to the parts store and get one but they NEVER have what I need on hand. I end up getting it online or they have to order it. They got plenty of the crap parts tho.

I'd verify, but this should be it.

I just pulled the alternator from my Taco and installed an aftermarket high amperage one. Message me if you are interested.

Believe it or not, you can get a reman denso from the Toyota dealership for a good price. I looked it up and it costs less to get the remanufactured unit from Toyota than to buy all the denso parts and rebuild it yourself.
