Anyone else have the Redline Goods interior door pull covers? If you do which way does the velcro overlap?

The best way mine fit the contour of the door pulls puts the velcro overlapping with the bottom over the top. I have tried every other orientation and direction and swapping side to side and this is the only way they fit unless I turn them inside out. The problem is when your reach inside the handle because of how the velcro overlaps your fingers hit the velcro seam which is not only annoying and uncomfortable but it also opens up the velcro seam overtime.

It appears to me that sewing the velcro on the opposite sides would fix this annoyance. I have reached out to redline and they agreed this would be annoying and are looking into it.

In the mean time if anyone has these I'd like to know your thoughts and how they overlap.

I agree looking at the picture the top should overlap the bottom or even some hidden snaps would be great.

That's the exact reason I purchased these. They are expensive for what they are but they look great and keep the door handle atleast looking clean. The velcro overlap issue I'm working thru is annoying but none the less I'd rather deal with that than the dirty pull handles.

I agree, you even look at them with dirty hands and the damm thing turns blacker than a chimney sweep.

Oh man you have some black console stuff.

Im here sitting in 50 shades of grey.

Sorry doesn’t solve you problem. I’m looking at the website, one would assume you have yours upside down.

Yes I purchased the black center console only. All else is still silver.

I agree and the manufacturer confirmed I have them installed correctly. But they also said it doesn't make sense why the velcro is the way it is. That's why I was hoping to find someone else who has them to confirm. Any other way that I put them the contours do not line up. The 2 pictures below show them installed the only 2 ways that the velcro overlap can be with the top over the bottom. Unless I turn them inside out. Then they fit correctly and the overlap is also correct

I’m betting the the Velcro was sewn on incorrectly and they didn’t catch it before it went out the door.

Ok I've had for a long time IMG_20230828_182612095.jpg
Roll them around a little. I actually pulled door panels off and pulled the pills out and placed the covers on not hard.IMG_20230828_182621688.jpg IMG_20230828_182629552.jpg
That way you can pull tight. And the way mine sit I don't know about the Velcro.
    Maybe it's just me

They are saying they have never had a complaint before and the way mine shipped is how all of theirs are made. I'm guessing they arnt selling a bunch at $50 for a set so maybe I'm just the first that's been picky enough and noticed that they could be made slightly different for a much improved product.

That makes sense and sometime when I have the door panels off I'll likely do what your suggesting. But just to confirm yours are the same as mine where the velcro overlaps from the bottom over the top to where when you put your fingers inside the opening you can feel the seam?

The manufacturer is saying they will make me a "custom" set, different than what their standard is to have the seam overlap the other way even though they also agreed logically they should overlap the way im suggesting. But they proposed splitting the cost also. I can't see spending $25 to have another set made when I can just have the velcro sewn on the opposite sides.

To be fair they are working with me and have been very receptive to my emails. Their customer service is much better than most these days so in no way am I knocking that. I'm just picky when it comes to designs and opportunities for improvements.

Y’all’s have Velcro on them? I bought some from Redline and they’re just a piece of cut-to-shape fabric. I never figured out or decided on how I was supposed to adhere them to the handles.

Wrap top to bottom is how I did it. Second picture showed from top to bottom. I'll try to take a better picture in the morning.

Damn $50 for two little handle wraps, this market needs more competition.
