Found an unused connector under my dash. I have a 2019 Tacoma SR. Anyone have any ideas what it is for? upload_2023-8-27_10-6-18.png

Might be the one for fog lights.

Fog lights are on the left stalk with the headlights.
On the 2019 tacoma there were a few switches that were in that spot. Power inverter, auto high beams, bed light, and clutch bypass switch (manual trans)

So, depending on what switch your missing there is probably what it is (except clutch bypass switch, its either there or its not)

    caribe makaira,
Thank you for your response. Is there a way to use the cargo light connector to power fog lights. I have the factory wiring connector but not wired for steering wheel stalk so would have to use a dash switch. This is a pic of switch I would use from previous after market wiring harness I installed on a 2016 Tacoma. I would love to use the factory harness on my 2019 Tacoma but not sure if I can. I'm sorry to bother you but just wondering if this is possible. Thank you.

    Nitori's OEM SR Foglight mod!
The aftermarket switch could be wired for switch illumination (green (+) beige (-)) with the wires of the cargo lamp switch connector.

I'm sorry to keep bothering you, but do you happen to know if anybody is still making the custom wiring harness to tap into the unused cargo light plug for powering up the switch for the fog lights? I tried getting a hold of kmorgan3 but couldn't send him a message. Just wondering if you know of anyone else. Thank you very much for all of your help

Guild outfitters has Kyle’s switch illumination from cargo connector.

Guild is preferred to Caliraised per Kyle. It’s the same exact product as far as I’m aware.

The OEM tall fog light switch looks decent. It’s 4 wires. May be a little tricky getting the connector and pigtail. Any aftermarket switch should be fine too and you can get the short ones there. I figure many are AT so the tall in the driver cubby is unused and has a blank.

Actually, all MT would have fog lights after 2018 so probably true that the tall spot is there for the taking for anyone without factory fog.
