I'm going to list a bunch of helmets that I've been looking at over the next day or two and would like opinions. I'd like opinions on Brand and type not so much on graphics.

    1. ICON ALLIANCE LUCKY LID HELMET

Hows the noise and aerodynamics at speed with the ICON? I have an HJC and it floats quite a bit while on the Highway. Any whistling or excess wind noise?

I love my scorpion. I have a exo 750 and its the best helmet Ive have. It fits small compared it Icon but is lighter and more comfortable and has inflatable cheekpads to make it fit perfact. Also the face sheilds change out easy, are cheap and dont fog

yeah theres a fair amount of wind noise (highway only), it only floats when i lift my chin up higher, but again i cant compare it to anything.

    I've had 2 Icons and 2 Shoeis.

The Icon quality is not quite top tier like the Shoei but it's a solid helmet. If you don't mind spending the extra coin though the Shoei won't disappoint.

I haven't owned a Scorpion but always hear good things about them.

A Headcase Bluetooth Motorcycle Helmet is what I wear. I like the ability to answer calls while on the move. That and I like the flat black color cuz its kinda sinister / bad guy looking, plus matches my bike.

Here in the states, Arai or Shoei are the only two manufacturers I'd recommend. Helmets are definitely one thing where you get what you pay for. If you've got a $50 head, get a $50 helmet.

I used to sell motorcycle parts and have had Shoei RF, Scorpion EXO 400 and 700 and HJC helmets. HJC are bottom of the barrel. The Shoei's are nice, but never fit me well and had a lot of wind noise. I currently have a EXO 700 and really like it. Scorpion and Shoei rated the same for safety when I sold them and we sold alot more Scorpion because of their good pricing. Here's mine I got for free from the rep for selling so many. The flat black on right. I also have the white one with color change on the back. Blue helmet is my old exo 400.

Shoei all the way! By FAR the most comfortable. Icons have sweet graphics but they're about as comfortable as a five gallon bucket full of newspaper on your head.
