I thought closed meant "unofficially open." :notsure:

In all seriousness, though, those are the types of idiots who ruin things for everyone. I hope they get fined heavily.

I will let you know. We don't care if it isn't. My buddy just wants to go off-roading. He has a blast recording ALF in action. I watched a You-tuber-in-the-making last year. I'll let him take the wheel anytime he wants off-road, but he declines most times as he is afraid he'll damage my 4R. He wants to drive, just doesn't. He does do most of the pavement driving.

@Thatbassguy when you have time would you mind updating post #1 to clear out old stuff and include new events (mod day, Rockford event, car show event)? Pretty please with sugar in your Old Fashioned. Thanks!

I cleared out some of the old stuff. I will need to add some details when I have a few minutes later.

@WiscoPat , please post whatever details you would like me to put in the OP about the mod day, and I will copy/paste them into it

    Here ya go:

Mod day at Pat's place! The Pat in Wauwatosa (or Tosa, as the cool kids say), not the northern tundra.

This will be a chill afternoon hanging at my place with any mods you want to do that might need an extra set of hands. If not, I'd love help on the 80 with some wiring and trim removal.

My driveway can accomodate two vehicles in front of the garage for those who want to work on stuff. Otherwise there's plenty of street parking.

My garage is a 24x20 that's in the process of being built out into a functional year-round shop. It's in its infancy, but I'd love to share ideas.

Plan is to have people arrive around 1:00pm - I'll have snacks and beverages on hand. I have outdoor seating for 5-8, so maybe bring a lawn chair...also any specialty tools for things you want done (mods/maintenance-wise).

We'll hit up Lion's Tail Brewery for dinner and a beer, about 6-7 blocks from my place. Come for the drievway/garage portion, the brewery, or both! For those wanting to stay later, we can enjoy a fire, weather permitting.

All who plan on attending, please DM me. This will help me prep accordingly and I don't want to put my address on a public forum...even though I'm sure I'm on a "list" somewhere.

Anybody who wants to see the upcoming events. ;)

I did ask the mods about having the 1st post at the top of every page in the thread, but they haven't done that yet.

Ha! Your only 5 1/2 hours from the frozen Tundra! Was 34 degrees Saturday morning just so you can steel yourselves for the fact that: Winter Is Coming...

    I've got two 10mm sockets that I haven't lost...yet!

Though there is a related bolt rattling around somewhere in the 80's engine bay...should be fine.

The rattling is the tractor engine under the hood. Sounds so nice :)
