Yeah that's a weird market segment. But it must be strong enough because those zero/low alcohol beers have been around a long time. I know most people in recovery look at those as not being OK, since most still have a tiny % of alcohol in them. So I guess they're just for people that like the taste (bleh) but don't want the buzz

I'm skeptical of much of what I seen on fb so this might just be an elaborate ploy to get someone to take her dogs, but if it's true then what the fuck. I would be blowing up that story all over the local media because I imagine virtually everyone would be on her side. Talking about damn chickens here, not someone's kid. Compensate the owner for the chickens and move on.

Prey drive is high in the breed (along with many other breeds like sporter dogs) but wtf...euthanize them for killing livestock?

Never heard of such a thing for such a small case.

It's usually when they're a danger to other people (whether adult or child).

Hard enough finding people to take a non-puppy husky, even harder to find someone to go through the gauntlet she's requesting.

There are 'ranches' and the sorts that take in such dogs in the most extreme conditions, like the one portrayed...so I wonder...

yeah that's the general talk going on in the thread (other than outrage), having her reach out to rescues because even the ones at capacity will likely make room in this case.

But yeah, it's not like they attacked a person/child....they're fucking chickens. Make her compensate for the value lost in the chickens being killed and move on

So apparently, it comes down to local law.

Pet killing pets are a situation where an animal can be put down, following the stipulation that chickens aren't designated as pets but instead "only livestock"

Quick search reveals such local-only laws and actually pulled up an exact scenario from 2016 where a woman got court ordered to put her dog down. Why? Killing a neighbor's chicken(s).

Ugh that's fucked. We have a few neighbors with chickens so I should probably check our local laws  Though Dex isn't the type to escape our yard or anything. He did chase a neighbor's cat down the block last week though when he pushed past Rebecca and out the front door lol.

One of our neighbors had quail or pheasants or something in an enclosure in their front yard (why??), not that long ago I was walking by and saw the mesh had been ripped back and they were all gone. Probably coyotes

The base price starts at a mere $115,000 USD and I'm sure they'd even happily customize computer specs for you...for a fee haha.

I don't dislike hot chocolate, not at all

But I'm always hot so I don't care for hot drinks in general

I've noticed that; you can take a long time to bullshit and stand around when you "get up to get coffee"

Everyone at the dealership did it
