@m3bassman Random aside, I drove a friends Cooper S for a bit, with the DCT, and I think I liked it more than my JCW. A lightly modded S over the Johnny seems like a sweet spot.

the scary part too is how long it took for them to finally figure out what was wrong with her, the video I saw said she was reporting symptoms of constantly being sick for over a year, headches, fevers and eventually suffering memory loss and chronic depression, test after test revealed nothing was wrong with her until they finally did a brain scan.

I get that parasitic brain worms is probably not the go-to for any doctor but still, would be really depressing to have to go through that for so long with no answers

 

Dr. House would have figured it out in 3 episodes or less

as I was typing that I realized I've had the same stomach problems for going on 10 years and doctors haven't been able to do shit for it, maybe we just put too much faith in doctors lol.

 

Guessing you've had a gastric tissue biopsy?

actually no, but it figures I'll probably be the one to have to bring it up. Colonoscopies, endoscopy, medicines that haven't worked or are just tackling symptoms and not causes, etc.

It's funny you say that, I finally went and saw an out of network doctor that Rebecca sees. She's been trying to get me to see her for awhile but I've been stubborn because it was out of network. She's the first one thought to suggest it might be something tied to the horrible case of food poisoning I had when I was in Nicaragua. Sometimes you end up with bacteria from that that stays in the gut and just keeps reproducing and will live there giving you problems for life unless treated.

So they have to order this expensive breathalyzer test thing that will determine if that's the case or not, but it would make sense because this all started around that time after that trip
