    I need some new tires for my stock TRD Sport wheels and decided on the Hankook DynaPro ATM. I am just trying to decide on which size will work better for me. I have a DCLB with OME 885 in front and the TSB leaf springs with AAL. The 255/75/17 end up being 32.1x10x17 where the 265/70/17 is a 31.6x10.4x17.

    I like the idea of having a little more sidewall, but would I really notice any difference in the handling of the truck loosing 0.4" in the width? Anybody have any experience with this tire size on the Tacoma?

    on a more serious note, i ran 255/75/17 BFG MTs and loved them. after the front bumper swap, they just looked puny.

    both. 285s+ made a difference on both accounts. 3" lift w/ 32s looks too small to me.

    I'd have to agree...265s just don't fill the wheel wells out enough...I would buy 295s but I still have like 25k worth of tread on my 265s and i'm a cheap ass :frusty:


    This gives me time to buy the front hybrid bumper Eric (Relentless) is making :D

    Do you have pics of the 255/75/17 on your truck? I don't have any plans to swap my bumper so other than looks, is there a difference between the two sizes? I really don't want to upgrade to 285s due to the mileage and the possibility of rubbing.
