I’m curious as to if all the dealers have the same systems/software available to them. My dealers information he looked up just says vessel but not port or ship number or rail like I’m seeing Dave provide. Odd that they wouldn’t all be able to look up the same details. Or simply Dave is higher up the Toyota food chain!

 

just ran my vin on the recall site you linked and my truck is showing no recall now. Thought you might want to check yours

Dealers in Tulsa wanted to add market adjustment. Dealer in Dallas had 6 months wait. Found dealer in Houston
that had a couple that were coming in in a couple weeks. made deal on phone and picked it up. This was this time last year.

 

@DragonPro23 ... been trying to get information from my dealer has been like pulling teeth. Any way you can locate?

I think it has finally shipped but the dealer won’t tell me.

Thanks! ... Well, at least I know it was built.

 

In April of 22 I ordered an OR Access cab in LR. In August 23 I accepted an OR 4 Dr in LR (with way to many options). 16 month wait and no access cab. I was afraid that 23 production would be shutting down soon for the 24 change over so I settled for the 4 dr. Wanted a 23 with V6. Even though she is a 4 dr she is a beauty.

 

I know right didn’t even get a call I will see if they call me tomorrow by lunch if not I’m going to call up there. It blows my mind the lack of transparency some dealers will give their customers. But I really appreciate you running my vin for and I probably say that for me a lot of us on here.

 

Congratulations on the new truck! Even if not exactly what you hoped for I'm sure you will love it.

 

My truck landed in port 8/19, and is still in limbo somewhere. No port installed options. No recalls. The dealer tells me it should be there by 9/12. I’m not holding my breath on that date either.

Thanks, but got tired of waiting and lucked out by finding a different Taco last Friday and picked it up yesterday, getting windows tinted and protective film on now. Plus just checked and old one is still on hold!
