Scored a decent conditon shell for my long bed 3rd gen....that belonged to the Orkin Man. Rolled around for the last few months with the white on lunar rock. Now I'd like to get it color matched. Not looking for a stellar job 4 layer 3k job, just something decent that is better Maaco? Unless y'all think Maaco is decent enough. East Bay honestly would be ideal but will to travel around the greater area. Current price guestimates? I've scanned threads and the googs and folks are saying up to 700ish in previous years, I'm sure its more like 1000 now or something with ameriflation and shit.

    Thanks!

I would reach out to a local paint shop that’s reputable, in my area they wanted $450-700 with prep and paint out the door
Maaco wanted $250-500 and I’m sure the result would have been the same

I went cheap and just lived with whatever colors my toppers came in, lol
I’ve got magnetic grey on my red right now

not worth the expense when I can’t drive anymore and have a baby to feed

I feeeeeeeeeeeeel this but I can drive without my shell. I was exploring doing a shit spray job myself. 150 bucks for paint/prime/clear, harbor freight gun. some home depot plastic drop cloth but thats also how many hours of my own damn labor.

I’d buy 2k clear from Amazon, it will hold up better than duplicolor or rustoleum stuff
