Hey Dave, do you or the shop you work for, do shock rebuilds?

Recently picked up a 1st Gen tundra to replace my taco and it has some icons that could use some new seals

No brother, we don't rebuild shocks that I'm aware of. Definitely don't have nitrogen to charge them.

Congrats on the Tundra! I love those trucks. Hopefully you got the 4.7L.

Any recommendations in the area? I’m thinking one of the dozen shops on gothard can probably do it

Thanks, yep got the 4.7 :D

Nice truck! That engine will last forever. I believe Kaizen does shock rebuilds. Or ship them out to @AccuTune Offroad.

Kaizen offroad in Huntington Beach does rebuilds as well. Highly recommend them. Check ‘em out and ask for Sean. They can rebuild and tune to your needs. https://www.kaizendirt.com/

Worked on this awesome 2nd gen single cab 4x4 today. Valve cover replacement, the old one cracked and sprung a leak. Love working on the 2TR!

had Dave work replace my valve cover (leak stymied me) super nice guy and extremely thorough and his rate is more than fair. I would definitely recommend him. I’m extremely picky about who I trust with my truck and I would go back for sure

NICE! Glad you found someone who you picked and trust to have the work done. Mr. Dave is very selective in the customer he would be performing the works for.
I was not as fortunate when I asked him to work on my truck. :notsure:

Dang I’m sure there was a good reason like if he’s too busy and he’s just doing it as a side gig so if the work is too time consuming he might turn it down I reckon, he’s a super nice guy and wouldn’t stiff you on purpose

We had a pretty thorough text back and forth. I Said the repair was too large for me to do as a side job. I even gave you my shops information and offered to give you a ride home with my personal vehicle, even though I wouldn't be making any profit off of the repair. That's really odd you saw things differently. I suppose it was a good thing I wasn't able to help you.

    Just some stuff...
He wasn’t able to work on mine and also suggested I take it to his shop. I did and it was a good thing I did. Turned into a bit more work than I thought. I’m happy I went to his shop. Everything needed to fix my truck was right there and they did a great job. Nothing but respect for those guys.
