I agree to disagree, it's only been the last two yrs that a pro 4 caught and past the 2's for the win.

Oh there will be some mods all right
This is the internet, I'm pretty sure we're supposed to be angry at each other now :D I found this screenshot to help my case though :p 100% seriousness, I suppose I just have high standards for what a good racing is and the number one important factor to me personally is good battles and it seems like every cup race hasn't really had that many battles. Whoever wins usually wins easily like they were leading with two or more laps to go and it seems like a lot of the time second and third place also were already in second or third two laps ahead of time.

I kinda agree the last five or six yrs has not been the door to door racing we all want to see,
unless we get to see Johnny and CJ out on the track usually in hot laps or practice when they start the dance of running together.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Have a good time. Not sure if I'll go again, went last year and it pissed me off how much I spent and how little racing I got to see. Half hour race and 45 minute track prep, bullshit. It's off road racing. Back in the day, you ran the track as it evolved, not a billiard table. Minor repairs done in really bad corners. Also not interested in ATV racing, which was every other class. Then, there's the food/drink purchase experience. Say what I want to buy is $7, you can't buy $7 in tickets, you have to buy $10 and they pocket the $3. Nothing comes out to an even $10, $20. Fuck you.

    Sorry. /rant

I agree-seems like most venues for events are like this now. Prohibitively expensive, especially for a family. If kids don't get hooked its gonna die...

Thanks Adam, I wasn't sure, but I like them: AND... they're different enough from the Ray 10's (or current cool kid wheels (Methods etc.)) that it is distinctive. Tires use up a lot of the wheel well now! Not as bad as I think you imagine for clearance. I was really worried, but the CMC as GOBS of clearance. Doesn't get near the frame anywhere. Have not fully stuffed to see where it touches on top yet (It probably will...) Had to do some minimal (But still real!) cutting at the bottom of the front fenders. Still need to heat up and conform the inner liner so it clears at any amount of turn. I could cut it off, but I like the idea of some protection. They poke a little bit, but no more than what I have seen on you alls trucks-passed my daughters "Duck Truck" test, so there is that.

Initial impressions on the Kendas are positive. Way quieter than the KM3's!!! Throw rocks like a son of a gun-pick up everything and fling it. Very firm (but I haven't checked where they set pressure.) Look cool... and that is what counts most (HA!) Really wonder what @CygnusX191 doesn't like about them... (Bait, bait...) I mean really, for what I paid these are the sheeet!

    Looks great!

It's probably similar to the situation with KO2s. They work fantastic for 90% of people, but there's always that handful of people who say they're garbage. :notsure:

    Pat,
    Truck looks real nice.
Did you notice a big change in acceleration or breaking?
Cool kids and Ray 10s :notsure:
Coolness only happens when they get trail scratches.:mudding:
You spare tire looks heavy. I think you need something like this now.

Again, Truck looks nice. Have fun with it.

Welcome to the club, see you got your fenders trimmed up already, how’s the rubbing?

The inner plastic "splash" panel has been problematic-only because I am trying to keep it. I think I have it all tucked and trimmed now. Going for a little wheeling tonight so I will know more then. Over all, not as bad as I had thought.

It will definitely rub the top of the wheel well when fully stuffed.
