Dedicated throttle and stick platforms are a freaking must for me; my desk sucks as it's a temporary setup I didn't expect to game on.

Drew up these leg designs (except the logo's, To Be UsEd FoR eDuCaTiOnAl DeMoNsTrAtIoN purposes only); 2 legs for stand with a wood top and metal base bottom -

 

Naw I got plenty of steel rod from 1/8", 3/16", and even some 1/2" left over.

 

Ive got a corner desk, main screen in the deep corner, that has plenty of room and a view of the back yard. I even have space for a dinner plate on those evening flights the awkward thing is using the computer for regular computer stuff since the keyboard sits between the controls.

I forgot I took a cool picture last night with the full moon over the coast. I'll have to post that tomorrow. I'm happy to hear your enjoying the game enough to jump in with both feet!

 

Do you have authentic airplane food?

 

Corner desk was on the list of things to buy when we redo the extra bedroom, until I had someone to nerd out with on flight sims that now I'll end up building a small sim chair

Funny you mention views though. I often find myself taking screenshots cause the views are awesome sometimes all the time.

 

Just need your own autopilot to complete the experience

 

Decided on valving for my shocks, I'm pretty sure this is an art as much as it is a science what with the differences between brands and the max stack size differences and shim availability.

What would you guys do,

I ran into my buddy tonight at the store. He accidentally poured a gallon of water into his engine oil fill hole, don’t ask me I already rousted the shit out of him for it. I guess it was overheating and he was fumbling around in the dark. Idk how he made that mistake.

I told him I’d drain the oil all out, pour 4 quarts of diesel into the engine, run for a few minutes then drain that, add cheap oil, run for a bit, drain, then add quality oil and new filter.

it’s not a Toyota but I legit have no idea how to move forward lol.
