Hope everyone is good after the storm . We didn't even lose power. Flickered a few times but that's it . @SGTCap lost power and had the generator going around 930-10 last night .

Hit a puddle and hydro’d! When the tire hit concrete it sounded like something bound up and skipped/locked… fun times! Now when I hit it in reverse it pops loud as fuck while moving, not the initial gear shift. First initial quick check in the rain doesn’t appear to be any physical damage or loose bolts I can see. Looks like my weekend just got booked up!

Damn . Possible lower control arm bushings or the pivot bolt or bushings in the upper control arm I've bent that bolt before lol . Hell you get the t-case issues fixed

So the noise went away when I hit the road this morning, but was grinding and popping as I pulled forward out of my drive way. Lasted just passed turning onto the street in front of my house and went away. Popped it into reverse when I got to work and no issue. Similar to a rock stuck in the dust shield, but I don't got no dust shields lol. Not 100% sure whats going on but I need to do some maintenance this weekend for sure.

I ordered a new actuator for the t-case Tuesday. Should be here in a few days. All cause I lost one tiny part! FML!

Ohh yea, that sucked! lol. Hopefully it shows up soon and I can get that fixed with no further issue. Maybe/hopefully the grind BS was just a rock stuck somewhere it shouldn't have been.

Also the battery is dead in the fucker so I keep having to jump it with the secondary battery! Nice and easy though cause all I do is push a button and its go time! Thought about leaving it and just calling it a killswitch.

Hell yeah . I need to swap a FJ case in the T4R still figuring it all out since I'm AWD and there is a difference in T-case sizes

just need new driveshafts and figure out where to cut a hole for the shifter.

luckily my GX had the factory tcase shifter in the same exact spot. I just gotta get a custom boot made to tidy it up. Also need to get my installer to make a crossmember to support the rear case. It’s hanging with a bit too much weight for my liking.

Looks good for sure . I think the 4th gens may have a spot already to be cut for a shifter ? I may need to look into that as well.

My kids would have a blast moving those shifters around while waiting in the car :annoyed:
