I can't say I've ever had a normal DU bushing creak, also I don't replace them very often. I'd be lookin at the shock bolts, seatpost/collar, BB, etc.. Make sure to use fiber grip on anything touching carbon and grease on anything else metal/metal.

I have used the RWC hardware, they work fine and do actually improve low bump sensitivity a bit. Worth $70 or whatever? No. I've also had a few sets of the Fox bearing hardware as well and on one bike they creaked like crazy, and on another and they're perfectly fine. (tolerance stacking?)

Was a Specialized fan until I got a bum Ground Control. Schwalbe, had good luck with Rocket Rons and so far Wicked Wills - Racing Ralphs on the other hand lost a ton of knobs, they just shear off.

They have been great to me for the few minor things I've reached out to them for.

I think the bad customer service reputation is still just following them from some issues in the earlier days. I have not seen any consistent negative reviews of their customer service in the last handful of years.

Schwalbes are great. Big fan of the MM and BB combo, but their prices are high. I also have issues with the MM on loose over hard (like kitty litter) they seem to really skirt around. Also not great on hard and fast, like bike park berms. Other than those instances they really are great tires.

For real. But I did let them sit in the sun for about an hour and they popped right on.

Their enduro casing is definitely burlier than exo+. I think that bead insert really makes a huge difference in preventing pinch flats. I run enduros on the rear and they've been as reliable as DD. They do have more sidewall flex though, but I got used to that.

I think you'd really like the Mazzas. Rounded, grippy, channel but not huge, roll well. I'm actually surprised their casing doesn't feel as firm as the DD (benchmark for me) considering the weight, but it's a ton more supple. I ran them for a day of bike park for their first day and they've done great. I'm 155 kitted and ran 22 psi in them, and 24 psi in the rear enduro KRR. Some flex in the sidewall on bigger berms with high g-outs but damn were they good everywhere else. I think I'm going to run this combo for a bit.

Side note. My buddy is almost 200 lbs, freakin' rips, and runs exo tires. Have no idea how.

Not sure how much I'll notice the extra 10mm, but will be good to have the new air spring with fresh slickoleum vs the pile of grease from the factory.

I've had Mazzas and I did like them. They have quite a round profile as I recall. They had good transition and lean in but lacked a bit of edge bite on our loose over hardpack probably because of the big flat and low knobs. On clear hardpack they were amazing otherwise.

Picked up an Epic Evo and it's handling everything I throw at it around me so figured I'd sell the Pivot.

Since I got the Allied, I haven't been on the Evils (Calling or Insurgent). As a matter of fact, they both have flat tires. These new "XC" bikes are more than capable (and gives me an automatic excuse for not hitting doubles).

This. It does prevent you from doing stupid sh*t which is probably good but man is it more fun and engaging being on a short travel. The Allied bikes are just beautiful.

It totally is. The scary part is that it's so light that it launches better than my Evils so I end up hitting drops on it that I would have second guessed on the big bikes.

Anybody have a 27.5" rear wheel they're looking to dump? Looking for something 30-35 mm. 12x148 hub spacing.

Lol, Just jelly, is all. Wish I could run lighter tires and not pinch them as soon as they see a rock.

Hey fellas, since we all know how rough of a situation this can be I figured I'd share a GoFundMe I recently setup for one of the guys in my riding group. He went otb on a jump at a bike park and landed right on his back/ass shattering his pelvis. Rough situation since he is self-employed and won't be able to put weight on his left leg for at least 3 months. Please don't feel obligated but any little bit goes a long way! Thank you!

No sir - Magic Mary 29x2.6" up front, Big Betty 29x2.4 in back... the best combo out there.

Well, I unlocked a new skill today, the hospital flip.

Fortunately, the Stumpy Evo survived, only a few scratches on the handlebar. I will be testing Ketl’s repair for life policy, as I tore up one of their shirts pretty good.

Walked my first true DH tech trail. Rode everything I knew 100% I wouldn’t crash. Was solo. The difference between single black tech and the double black race tracks is something else. Again wondering if I need more protective gear.

    Lower karpiel at northstar california.
    also rode TNT(Tell no Tales).

Genuinely scary. I do think imma get a dh bike next year. Or an enduro with way crazier geo.
