I'd be shocked if it doesn't require trimming the fender flares too and some gentle "massaging" with like a 4lb sledge in the rear of the wheel well too.

I did the CMC. Took 2" off that thing all the way to the frame. Boxed it back but wish I hadn't. Even with stuff these clear.

Fender bottoms needed trimming. Inner fender well area is fine even with stuffage. The pinch weld did need to be flattened. Again, way better than the doom and gloom I was anticipating!

You know what would go great with those? An overpowered compressor to air those babies up quick. These just came back in stock: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_MTWM10215C

There's various vendors selling the same model under different names/colors if they sell out again. That's the best price I've seen though. And any upgrades are easy to do yourself.

I've had a shimmy since Tigerton, so I got the tires rebalanced today. Unfortunately, they found that I had bent a wheel. o_O

Anybody know an alloy wheel repair guy? :bananadead:

Luckily, part of the reason I went with black rhino was that they weren't very expensive. A replacement is only $235. But they managed to get it to balance, so we'll see how it goes. :D

Good luck! I still need to find the new rattle I picked up there.

When I bought my new tires a few years ago, one of them took more than that many weights to balance on brand new SCS wheels. Turns out later Discount Tire found it's a slightly out of round tire. You're fine to send it but probably not a bad idea to pick up a new wheel later to avoid the weeble wobbles.

I might get the spare wheel fixed and make that one the spare. Or, just get another wheel. We'll see.

Took the wife out to diner in Delta this evening. Nice drive and a chance to feel out the Kendas. They are so QUIET! Wow. At highway speed we can have a conversation and hear the radio... not kidding when I say that KM3's are LOUD! Took some dirt roads back. I know its because the mud flaps are gone, but man do those things throw rocks. Never had a set like this (but in my defense I have always run mud tires with bigger lugs.) Boy howdy do they hang on to a gravel road like glue (Sipping helps I am sure.) Very confident inspiring. Now if I just get 50k and no flats I am a happy boy.

Pat, I am absolutely thrilled with how the wheel and tire combo has worked out for you! They look right at home on your truck.

As of today we officially own a house in Surprise, AZ! Closing on both our sale and purchase went smooth. Glad that part is behind us. Now to actually move our junk to the new house.......
