    Hello I’m approaching 50 thousand miles and have stock plugs in it and what read you need to change .. so are any plugs that go 100000 miles for the next change like iridium? Which brand do use ? I got the v6 engine ..

    The plugs you have in it now will last 100k. If you really want to change them, change with OE plugs.

    I believe plugs aren't due until 60k. My dealership waited until 100k and I saw no issues. I believe the plugs most recommend are Denso OEM plugs.

    Personally, I always do maintenance early. As far as brand of plugs, I prefer a Denso or NGK I’m not a super big fan of iridium. I ran into problems with those in a 4.0.

    The OEM plugs are already fancy Denso iridiums with twin tips, three ground electrodes, etc. If you want to replace them early, you'll want the same Denso P/N 3491 to avoid problems. Pretty much anything else would be a downgrade.

    Look at prices for Denso P/N 3491 before electing to replace them early ;)

    I changed my plugs a year ago at 50K miles. Felt it was better sooner than later. Used OEM Denso plugs. 3 on the driver side are hard to reach. 3 on the passenger side are easy

    You may leave them till 80-90k. Mine looked fine at 70k

    My plugs looked good at 50K miles. I was going to just pull them and inspect them but felt no harm changing early to give me piece of mind.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
    Mine looked good at 60k, replaced with OEM. Wasn’t too bad to do in the garage.

    Here is a good video on changing Tacoma plugs. I know how to change plugs, but this video was helpful at reaching the driver side plugs. Engine sat over night and was stone cold. Plugs came out and went in very easy.

    Added aftermarket Rims and Tires, Fog Lights, Mudflaps, Entune with Nav
    The tip is iridium, but the ground electrode is platinum, hence the 60K replacement interval. I replaced mine at 60K with OEM (Denso) and while they did not look bad, my mpg increased about 1 mpg.

    did mine a month ago. FSM recommends removing the intake manifold, but it 100% can be done without doing that with the right extensions... Its not that bad

    a little anti-sieze on the new ones
