All the downtown lawns are done, without incident... I figured that was worth a reward. Only 70 miles round trip. @Cwopinger ;)

    KIMG3310.jpg

    Notice the toggle switch?
It is for the 4 way flashers, they weren't a requirement until 1968, so some 66/67 cars didn't have them.
I believe all the 66 Fords had them with the switch in the glove box for 1966 only.

Out motoring about I found a few legends of the past.

    1965 Imperial Crown Coupe

    KIMG3313.jpg

This is a massive car, 2-1/2 tons worth!
Power is provided by a 413 cubic inch V8. The grill is beautiful die cast.

    KIMG3314.jpg

I couldn't get any decent photos of the luxurious black leather interior. :(

    KIMG3316.jpg

The beauty and attention to detail these cars had is stunning.

Just across the driveway was a similar 1967 Crown Coupe, this one will have a 440 V8 under the big hood - the 440 was introduced in 1966.
The wheels are obviously not original, perhaps the paint color too.
Notice the different style vinyl top

    KIMG3318.jpg

Also die cast grill & sumptuous leather interior.

    KIMG3319.jpg

"Imperial" was marketed as a brand, the cars weren't properly called a "Chrysler Imperial".

    KIMG3320.jpg

This is from the other car although this one has it too. From 1962 and well into the 70's all Chrysler cars from the lowest Valiant to the Imperial had a "Pentastar" emblem on the passenger lower fender - only the passenger side.

    KIMG3321.jpg

However overseas cars with right hand drive had the Pentastar on the left fender.

Another item from the garage sale, 45,000 BTU propane heater with a brand new and full tank. $50

    Thank you!!
I had a ladder stand that I was going to give to a buddy, when he came by to pick it up he gave me the Asgrow sign (which was my first sign)...a few weeks later he bought a couple of acres that bordered his property that was completely full of trash....anyhow, he found 2 8ft GREENHOUSE signs on that property so he gave one of them to me. That was in 2017, I've been keeping an eye out ever since. I also have more than 500 license plates. :anonymous:
The amount of signs and license plates that TW members have given me is amazing!! One member sent me like 30 signs.:)

Are you rolling along singing a song to the factory AM radio or have you upgraded to a more modern one for your happy place travels?
