haven't chimed in here in a while. Hope everyone is keeping it safe this summer. Groms and supermotos. Beautiful machines. Don't own either but that WR is beautiful. My buddy competes in XC here in Indiana on a WR. He does pretty well and absolutely worships that machine.

I got ahold of a bike I've wanted for a few years back in May, have spent the summer getting it dialed in. New MAP, rubber, a couple farkles. Even took it camping. Very, Very happy. Anybody else just running mile munchers?

1200cc, 110 HP, air cooled, 485#. No ABS, No riding modes. Fuel injected. Throttle and Brembos is all you get. Bigger bike that still carves really really well with a nice twin rumble. These motors like the rpms between 5 - 7k for the most part, which seems high to american twin riders, but it's where these italians shine.

    Cheers!

    Very sharp
Always thought the Grizo was a nice bike.
Never had the chance to ride one though.

Gorgeous bike. Moto Guzzi's always look so good to me IDK why. every single model lol.

Man if I had a dollar for every time something I bought went on sale shortly after...I'd probably be able to buy another bike lol.

Lots of times if you reach out to whatever company nicely they might be able to refund you.

I've had mixed results with this. depends on the company and how closely to the sale period you bought the item. In my experience, few will honor the full sale price reduction, but most will meet you in the middle somewhere on either a partial refund or a future discount code that doesn't expire with the sale period.

I couldn't get the code to work. I tried GLTANK30, gltank30, GLTank30, and GLtank30. $175 for that Diablo isn't too bad. I'm not really needing to change out my bag....just wanted to day dream about it

Shoot them an email. They'll fix it.

As for those saying they might refund me, they probably would, but I'm happy to support them.

I'm sure they would, but to be honest.....I have other things that need to take priority. I have the Tusk bag and it's been good enough......for now :D

I'm just waiting for the tank protection film before I install the Diablo, but I've checked it out. So nice.

They do have some nice bags. That handlebar bag is tempting.

I was bored this afternoon and wanted to see if there was any truth or bullshit to the "solar reflective" seat material that is on the Dyna. Used an infrared digital thermometer for the measurements.
    Outside temp is around 96°F
    Seat is from Drag Specialties.

Both bikes sat in the sun for about 20 minutes
    Dyna seat-127°F
    Versys seat-161°F
I rode the Dyna most of the summer until recently, and noticed more than once the Versys was a bit hot after sitting. So I guess it does what it says. :)

After looking at them side by side the ergonomic differences became more apparent. The Versys sits a few inches taller in the saddle while the bars are lower, and i have been leaning over a bit and I'm not tall at only 5'6".
I have a 1" riser coming tomorrow, hoping that makes a difference. There is like zero slack in the clutch cable to accommodate this, I rerouted it today and ended up with a couple extra inches.
Also took the advice given here and rotated my levers down to keep my wrist higher.

In an interesting turn of events yesterday we acquired a 1-owner 2001 DR200 with 102 ORIGINAL miles on it for.. $200! Don't have keys or a title YET (seller is looking for keys/trying to get duplicate title), but it is pristine under the cobwebs and layers of dust.

FOR 200 BUCKS and all of 100 miles on the clock!!!! I literally dream of deals like this.

Full Carb rebuild, oil change, clean the air filter and pump up the tires and shes good to go for a solid flip or great lil round town trail machine!

Headed south to Baltimore this morning to pick up some more murals. I've already been there twice during this event but there are SO many murals there an just over one hour away so it's a chance to really add more to my total. I recently submitted my second gallery of pics and I'm credited with 894 and first place so far. I'm this colse that i HAVE to break 1k. Added 60 more today, here's some highlights.

Last night we went into downtown York, PA for their "First Friday" to grab some dinner and walked through their arts area where we saw 15 new murals they just unveiled. Heading back tomorrow on the bike as most of those I are far enough from the others I'd already photographed.
