Thanks man. It really sucks and the more we learn about it the more it sucks. They brought in a guy from apple to lead, Az closes, 200 jobs are open for San Fran office where this guy lives. New Collage hires starting at 86k-115k! Absolutely stupid decision and they really are handling it terribly.

That's super lame. At least you and your wife have a house! Those $86k new grads are going to need bunk beds for SF prices unless they live at home.

My cousins live in San Jose and they lived in the same room they shared growing up in until they were 30 then bought a house finally after saving forever. Could you imagine sharing a room with your sibling for 30 years?!

It seemed like every time I went camping they're were always fire restrictions. It got to where I didn't even bother having campfires ever out of habit.

I had been searching for a portable fireplace for a while. Anybody else have one of these?

I installed the Icon RXT springs on my truck by myself. I'm too old to do it again, but I'd be happy to read out torque specs while handling you tools. It's not a hard job.

We've got the one they sell at REI. Its ok. Doesn't throw heat like an actual camp fire. But it's better than not having a fire.

I had a wonderful time putting on sliders solo last weekend. Not interested in another project like that for a while.

Skill level wise I could probably do it but I'm slacking in the tool department and speed/efficency.

We just use a propane fire ring. But I also only usually camp maybe once a year while restrictions are up. The biggest reason I go camping is for the fire.....And sleeping outside is a close second.

I missed the fire the most. I like this one because it's small and it'll replace my 4 person propane barbecue. And it's small. Did I mention it's small?

I have an Ignik Fire Can for when it's just me and fire restrictions are in place...throws off quite a bit of heat, surprisingly.

OME 885 with 5100's in front, TSB and AAL with 5125's in back. 30" light bar in the valance.
I will need some fabrication done on Clifford soon. Might as well change his name again and call him Humpty Dumpty at this point. Kinda fitting as my Arizona and Utah license plates have been Humpty Dumpty. New Mexico was 007TACO.

Earlier this year I purchased some goodies that need fabb'd.
    https://jdfabrication.com/products/tacoma-05-18-lower-arm-pivots

Also, while in Utah I broke the front bumper mounting tabs helping a early 20 something kid in a Ranger with street tires and no 4wd get unstuck. So, as of right now I do not have the front bumper mounted. Once that's done I'll be able to mount a 12k Badlands winch to it.

I can register it here in Arizona once those two are done. Need to get a re-built title which includes an inspection to be done before registering it here.

Any help would be appreciated and TIA too!

We did win the "most road rage state" award...even if I saw an epic (consequential to life) pass on I-76 through Denver last weekend - take the exit, accelerate and cut back in waaaay after the exit. I thought PHX was bad. Nope, Denver worse.

Having moved around a bit for the navy, by far the worst and most aggressive drivers are in the DC area, at least everywhere I’ve driven. If you want to survive, you can’t be a timid driver there and have to be forceful with merging and changing lanes in traffic. It was so bad I upgraded the horns on my car at the time just so I could get other drivers attention, as well as a dash cam of course.

Curious how your insurance rates compare now that you’re in AZ vs back east. Mine doubled by moving to Phoenix.
