got yita motor one / similar from Amazon. I think those safety straps are more if all 4 clamps failed (or two clamps fail if in open state).
    The clamps hold pretty tight

There is always the relative bearing grease in the GPS that everyone forgets about.

Which cover do you have? Looks like a BAKflip but shinier than mine. When mine had sun on it the hail dents would disappear only to return when it cooled off. Being aluminum it dented when the truck didn’t.

You'll be paying off a 30k loan on a new Tundra. Is the glass half full or half empty with that deal?

IDK, I love my truck and have no payment on it, so thats nice, but having a new tundra would be pretty sweet too. I wonder if tundras hold their value like my tacoma did.

Lomax tonneau cover. Absolutely love it. Easy to install. Can be removed quickly. Smooth to open and close. Exactly what I needed. Even saw a bump in hwy mpg.

Spent the afternoon installing my Auxbeam 8 gang panel system. Right now I only have my under hood light and rock lights connected. Took advantage of Diode Dynamics sale and have ditch lights and a stealth light bar on the way.

But can I drive it for 5 years and then trade it back in for $3000 less than I paid for it new.

That’s above my pay grade. If I didn’t already have a Super Duty that gets 14 mpg, I’d have a Tundra. I got the Taco for a commuter rig and it has yet to disappoint me. Do what’s in your gut and deal with it. Something like that can eat at you until you either just do it or upgrade the Taco. Also, if a dealership is offering you X amount, you might get the deal of a lifetime and get X+1 or 2 for it. Just keep in mind they’re not in the business to give money away

I know they would list my truck for around $38,000. Rust free, dent free, scratch free, low mileage long beds are hard to find around here.

Im torn on it, I dont need the tundra for anything other than a little more leg room for my kids. My tacoma tows everything I need it to, the bed fits everything I need it to, and it takes me everywhere I want to go.
I think im just going to skip the tundra. As nice as it would be, it wouldnt give me anything extra that my tacoma doesnt already give me.

Well there’s your answer. Maybe treat your Tacoma to a nice upgrade and pat it gently on the dashboard for being a good truck
