IDK, I love my truck and have no payment on it, so thats nice, but having a new tundra would be pretty sweet too. I wonder if tundras hold their value like my tacoma did.

Lomax tonneau cover. Absolutely love it. Easy to install. Can be removed quickly. Smooth to open and close. Exactly what I needed. Even saw a bump in hwy mpg.

Spent the afternoon installing my Auxbeam 8 gang panel system. Right now I only have my under hood light and rock lights connected. Took advantage of Diode Dynamics sale and have ditch lights and a stealth light bar on the way.

But can I drive it for 5 years and then trade it back in for $3000 less than I paid for it new.

That’s above my pay grade. If I didn’t already have a Super Duty that gets 14 mpg, I’d have a Tundra. I got the Taco for a commuter rig and it has yet to disappoint me. Do what’s in your gut and deal with it. Something like that can eat at you until you either just do it or upgrade the Taco. Also, if a dealership is offering you X amount, you might get the deal of a lifetime and get X+1 or 2 for it. Just keep in mind they’re not in the business to give money away

I know they would list my truck for around $38,000. Rust free, dent free, scratch free, low mileage long beds are hard to find around here.

Im torn on it, I dont need the tundra for anything other than a little more leg room for my kids. My tacoma tows everything I need it to, the bed fits everything I need it to, and it takes me everywhere I want to go.
I think im just going to skip the tundra. As nice as it would be, it wouldnt give me anything extra that my tacoma doesnt already give me.

Well there’s your answer. Maybe treat your Tacoma to a nice upgrade and pat it gently on the dashboard for being a good truck

Tundras don't hold their value quite as well as Tacos where we live. Although they do hold their value far more than the Big 3 could ever hope for. Came from a 1st Gen, then 2nd Gen Tundra. Was going to get a newer one as well, but thought I'd give the Tacoma a chance. I do miss the Tundra's size, power, ride (rode like a Barcalounger) cargo space and some other things. It's certainly easier to maneuver the Taco, parking's a breeze by comparison (although mileage isn't much better). Overall it's easier to do most things with the Taco. And dogonit, the Taco can just be fun to drive. However now and again I also cast a longing eye at its bigger sibling. :crapstorm:

Just got mine tuned this weekend as well! Had to do Spicy and very spicy due to my RTT. The best investment on my Taco so far!

That’s Awesome man !!:burnrubber:I feel the same way even with my medium/spicy tune it was perfect for my truck and mods. Right next to my lift definitely my best mod to date also.

Changed out the boring oem pedal pads for that extra +5 hp sport pedals. All kidding aside, had to convert the gas pedal to metal as well. Spent more $ than I wanted to on research/ trial and error, but I didn't want to deviate from OEM fit and finish

Now it matches my other car's pedals!

I’ve had a few people mock me w/ ‘Nice Raptor! Lolz!’ until I’m like ‘Ehh, it’s a 30” light bar, dummy. One of two tucked in there, actually.’

Not likely. You know you don’t really wanna trade in your taco. What is gonna tow your tiny trailer?

Me either. Anyone else receive a bright orange filter recently?

If I didn’t buy it from a Toyota dealership I’d be very suspicious

Maybe at the filter factory… it’s the end of the roll of filter paper, so it’s a warning to change it out.
