You should be able to figure out the metrics… MUCH of this stuff is regularly available at various auto parts houses (Dorman is a prominent aftermarket product maker) as well As Amzn

I have a link to the correct bolts.

    https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NOE610632

Almost all of them on Amazon raise one concern or another. The one in your link has 1 review. Pass. Looking through some of the pictures of others that have hundreds of reviews, the flange on the aftermarket bolt is smaller so you don't get a full seat onto the rim. Pass. That's when I came across the bolts at Napa.

Never got the pattern key when I bought the Truck. Bought 4 cheap sockets & beat them on real tight then went ape shit with the impact. Never bothered tryin’ to separate. Just tossed ‘em in the scrap metal can.

Oh, I wasn’t implying those. I just meant if you checked the threads and length, you’ll find more options. Also, that Dorman is available via other places. Shop around and you may score a bulk buy deal. I once got a box of 10 packages for what I would have paid for one package (grommets).

Did you check the jack/tire iron area of your truck? Mine was zip tied to the factory lug wrench

Yup, black zip tie. Cut it off with side cutters when I checked the spare.

    No key :notsure:

You got this Drew. Don’t worry about that harbinger of doom that failed rack implies :D

I’ve got one of those HF breaker bars they are actually pretty nice quality and the 25” length give you some good leverage.

Usually NAPA stuff is trouble free.

    :confused::confused: Lug bolts...
I thought they were mostly on old VW Beetles and equally old travel coaches.

    Well... :bananadead:

I got the bright idea to clean up the truck this afternoon.

    Damn, Sam!

The interior looked like a commercial mowing outfit has been using it for the last 5 months  -- tons of grass, bits-o-tree, and the dirt...

I run with the windows down almost all the time too, that doesn't help much.

It was dark when I finished, tried some lazy guy spray wax stuff for the first time, I'm curious to see what it looks like tomorrow.
:gossip: Trust me, Mr. King of Shine @Delta09  won't be impressed...

I got home from the garage about 9, I don't remember the last time I drove at night, it was almost confusing.

If you've got a breaker bar and socket, I'd go around the vehicle and do a visual inspection, see if the socket fits or if they are all swollen. If they're in decent shape, see if you can break them loose without undue force. If you only have a couple of bad ones and your niece wants to save her money, just replace what you need to and keep an eye on the rest.

I change my sister in law's wheels winter to summer ect. and have been watching hers for a few years. I need to use two different sockets, but it's been a pretty slow progression.

Camping out tonight in the back 40. First time this year. :(
    IMG_20230901_225054.jpg

Saw Starlink satellites for the first time tonight, very weird! It was a straight line of moving lights progressing across the sky. Had no idea what it was, but Google helped.

    They looked just like this

I never had a vehicle with lug bolts and always wondered how one person would go about mounting a tire?

Do they come with wheel hanger studs? Good morning everyone :hattip:
