    Flash floods in the Desert regions can be very destructive . This video is only two miles away from where I used to live in the Socal High Desert area of Hesperia/ Apple Valley

    This is rock springs road in Apple Valley CA and is just after a t storm hit the area . The runoff is from Big bear lake up in the San Bernardino mtns

    We just went through a tropical storm with winds 3 times more than what we have now and why I chose live in a hill. Not really worried about this one unless a neighbor has loose items in their yard but most people know better.

    Those are what we run. The new version mount has a knob you can pull to lay it down 90° to flat.

    Oh wait, you're talking about to white (uni-directional) one?

    Nowhere to go. If the water gets this high we've got bigger problems.
    I've got a couple of those but never set them up. We've got 2 towers to point at and they are probably 90° from each other in relation to where my work area is and neither tower is reliable so I go with the omnidirectional. I talked to our LE Ranger who just mounted the new booster in his truck and he said he hasn't dropped a call yet. But the real test is going to be when all the snowbirds get here sucking up all the cell service (and oxygen).
