Good morning everyone.
I'm off to Harpers Ferry in a bit, any recommendations for a good place to eat while there?

Me personally, I couldn't even put a subie into a 'reliable' vehicle category. They have a good build quality except for the flat 4 engine (I think they still call it a 'horizontally opposed' layout.) The FA20 engine has as many problems as the old EJ25 and the newer CVT's don't exactly hold up very long. I was looking at them when I ended up getting the Taco.

good to hear and thanks for that suggestion. That one looks pretty good, they changed the grill to obnoxious lol. It might be too expensive but might be worth looking into.

 

Why are all the tacoma accessory companies in Cali . $200 shipping for some scs wheels i was looking at.

 

Rotated my tires the other day, but forgot about thr TPMS sensors, so my Taco still thinks my right front is in the rear left position.

Also, looks like I need a pair of new tires. Oof.

 

I scored a set of clean 3rd gen SR5 16" alloys for $80.. not exactly what I wanted but for the price, they will do just fine.

I have heard of Subaru reliability issues, but I don’t have much personal experience with it.

What has pushed me away from Subaru is their doing away with physical buttons on the infotainment screen. No Subaru, I do not want a touch screen heated seat button.

I’m sure that screen will hold up wonderfully in 5 years.

 

Well that’s fun… I did the same a couple weeks ago. Didn’t give it a single thought until you said this. How do I get them reading correctly?

 

Steps:
1. Grab a hand held PSI reader
2. Walk to vehicle
3. Remove valve stem cap
4. Insert PSI reader into valve stem
5. Remove and note reading

Well according to this thread I may not actually have to do anything; they should auto update themselves and figure their life out. Well that's good!

Now I just need to buy two new tires. I have one slowly leaking after seeing some damage, and I need to replace my spare with something that will match the rest of the set. So I think I'm going to get two brand new KO2, put them on the rear to replace the bad tire and a good tire, and take the good tire and use that as the spare so I don't havr mismatched tire sizes by too far.

 

I also need to replace 2 tires. They e worn 2 times or faster than the other 2… remember to rotate your tires folks!
Not sure if that’s the reason it happened since they could have only missed 1 rotation I think.

 

You gonna stick with the ST Maxx’s or get something else?

 

If I can just replace the 2 I’d stick with the Maxx. I really should do that sooner than later but they’re a lot more expensive now

 

Yeah I don’t understand why the 255’s are so insanely pricey.
